Dental examinations begin as early as 6 months old . You can bring your child in for a tour of the office and to meet the dentist and staff.
We want your child to be comfortable with us, we have cartoons and children's movies on the treatment chair so your child can watch movies while getting treatment to reduce anxiety.
We normally take x-rays around age five unless we suspect decay or any trauma related injury .
Our goal is to establish a relationship with your child through routine visits and cleanings. We educate patients and their parents or caregivers on oral hygiene so they can take good care of their teeth to avoid decay.
Bringing your children to the dentist regularly can avoid major dental work. Small cavities can be filled quickly and easily, often without any local anesthesia.

Sealants / Decay
What are dental sealants??
Sealants are thin, plastic coatings painted on chewing surfaces of teeth to form a protective shield over the tooth. The main reason for getting sealants is to avoid tooth decay.
What causes tooth decay?
Germs in the mouth produce acid from the sugar in foods. The acid will slowly make a cavity in the tooth. Sealants help to seal pits and grooves in the tooth, reducing the areas that trap food.

Appliance for Habits & Arch development
Appliance for Habits & Arch development
Thumb Sucking
Use of habit appliance in early stages will help break the habit and allow normal development of oral structure.
Tongue thurst
Infants when they swallow they have to thrust their tongues backward to get the food safely down. Thus tongue thrust habit form naturally. But with growth, the habit becomes less and less necessary and most children grow out of it by age six.
In some cases the habit persists, resulting in restricted arch development, malocclusion.
Appliance therapy will train the tongue to be in the correct position and help develop palate and arch.
